WD MY CLOUD EX2 PERSONAL CLOUD STORAGE
USER MANUAL
Distributed File System
Enabling this function allows you to improve data availability. Distributed File System is
disabled
by default.
1. To enable Distributed
File System, click the toggle button to ON.
2. Click Configur
e.
3. In the Root
Folder field, enter the name of your Root Folder, and then click Config
Link.
4. Enter the following information:
Local Share Name Enter the name of the local share where you’d like to store your
information.
Host IP Enter the IP address of the local NAS where you’d like to store your
information.
Remote Share
Folder
Enter the name of the remote folder where you’d like to store your
information, or select the folder from the Select a Folder drop-down
list at the right of the field.
5. Click Get Remote Share Folder to connect to your remote folder.
