Note: The Save button becomes available if you change a setting.

Setting Description

Mode The wireless modes are Wireless range extender

and AP (Access Point).

Status Status can be Unconfigured, Configured and

Connected, or Unconnected.

Number of Devices Connected Number of devices connected to the extender,

wired or wirelessly.

WMM QoS Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM) is a standard that

defines quality of service (QoS) in Wi-Fi

networks, prioritizes capability, and optimizes

streaming media.

WMM QoS is forced to On (grayed out) when the

Network mode includes 802.11n. If you select

any mode not including 802.11n, you have the

option to turn WMM QoS to Off.

Connection Type Can be Static IP or Dynamic IP (DHCP).
